Therapy:
Patient-centered, mind-body focused, life-changing opportunities.

Dr. Wexler integrates the bio-psycho-social-spiritual model to the whole person as this applies to our optimal well-being.

Currently, Dr. Wexler provides treatment via Eisenhower Health with intent to integrate behavioral health services with primary care and actively collaborates in a multi-disciplinary approach with medical residents and colleagues.

The focus of therapy is "how to change" and to find active resolutions and responses to life's challenges.  Each challenge brings forth opportunity for growth and change.

  • “Life is indeed difficult, partly because of the real difficulties we must overcome in order to survive, and partly because of our own innate desire to always do better, to overcome new challenges, to self-actualize.  Happiness is experienced largely in striving towards a goal, not in having attained things, because our nature is always to want to go on to the next endeavor.” - Albert Ellis, Ph.D., 1992

Forensic Consultation 2002-2016:
Dr. Wexler is an experienced custody evaluator who previously consulted with legal counsel to assist in the review and analysis of custody evaluations.  He no longer accepts appointments as an EC 730 evaluator, as a consultant in the role of an EC 733 reviewer, or as an independent consultant to legal counsel.

Custody disputes raise some of the most challenging issues, and you need an expert who can decipher the pros and cons of evaluations. Dr. Wexler advises examinees to collaborate closely with forensic and legal experts who can provide valuable insight to the custody process, reviews and constructive critiques of previously completed evaluations.

Forensic roles may include testimonial or non-testimonial consultation.

At the current time, Dr. Wexler is not available for non-testimonial or court related consultation.
